To enhance the utility of information yielded by Functional Tumor Cell Profiling, Dr. Weisenthal provides with each Comprehensive, Standard, or Targeted Therapy profile, a separate, written interpretation of testing results.  Board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, Dr. Weisenthal applies perspective gained in 20 years of providing Functional Tumor Cell Profiling services.  An individual assay interpretation generally runs from two to four pages in length, not including enclosures, and includes such information as the condition of the specimen upon receipt, overall assay quality, and in vitro drug activity assessed in context with clinical activity and cross resistance and toxicities as reported in the medical literature.  Interpretations often include literature citations, abstracts, and journal reprints where appropriate to support in vitro findings.
